Chubby Carrier is a tried-and-true master of Zydeco. This third generation Zydeco performer has toured extensively throughout the US and the world. The Bayou Swamp Band, led by Chubby and his churning accordion, are unquestionably the most exciting band in Zydeco today. This feisty gang takes the sweaty rhythms of the swampland and spices them up in a rock, roots, blues, soul and funk flavored stew. Whatever your age, be prepared to boogie when Chubby hits the stage.

What is the Bayou Boogaloo?
The Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo is a community music festival organized for the purpose of both providing a community-building experience and raising funds for charities supported by the Mothership Foundation. The festival is held annually on the banks of Bayou Saint John in New Orleans.
